Dave & Buster's closer to opening location in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The popular sports bar and arcade Dave & Buster's is moving forward with plans to open a location in Fresno.

Fresno City Councilmember Lee Brand says the developer hopes to rezone the land at Friant Road and Highway 41 next to Applebee's for the business. The next step is for the planning commission to create a strategy in the next 30 days. It's expected to go before the City Council in the next two to three months for approval.

Dave and Buster's is like a John's Incredible Pizza or Chuck E. Cheese's for adults, combined with a sports bar. Right now, the closest Dave and Buster's is in Milpitas.
